LaunchRoster guide

The product directory submission checklist

Use this checklist before submitting a SaaS, AI tool, app or indie product to a launch platform or software directory.

Product facts

Confirm the public product name, canonical URL, one-sentence value proposition, intended audience, current access state and pricing model. These facts should match across your homepage, social profiles and directory submissions.

Visual assets

Prepare a readable logo, product screenshots that show the real interface and one landscape image for link previews. Avoid screenshots filled with tiny text or decorative images that hide what the product does.

Trust and support

Publish a working contact route, privacy notice and clear explanation of data handling. Test signup, password reset and the primary workflow before sending new visitors. Remove any claim you cannot verify.

Submission copy

Prepare a literal tagline, a two-sentence description, a maker introduction and a short list of accurate tags. Edit each version for the platform. Do not overuse terms such as revolutionary, effortless or guaranteed.

After submission

Record the submission date and URL, answer genuine questions and update the listing when the product changes. Measure qualified signups and conversations rather than treating every backlink or visit as equal.

Platform rules and pricing change. Always check the current official guidance before submitting your product.
